When I was asked to give an interview about my healing from Lupus, I felt fear.
See, though I had completely healed from Lupus using the Journeywork, it had a legacy. Part of me – although less and less so still believed that if I speak of my healing I will become ill again. I noticed how the old belief system came up and the familiar words appeared in my head ‘you dare to talk of your healing and the illness is back’.
Healing physically from Lupus or any other serious disease is one thing – and healing from the energetic legacy of this disease is another. This healing requires opening into essences that are more subtle, hidden and rooted, essences that have become part of your being.
If you have a serious disease, then healing of the physical body is just the first layer of your healing. The second layer of the healing is exploring, revealing and meeting the deeper energetic legacy of the Lupus. This work is still going on. It’s a privilege, and I thank my body for the trust it has in me and my commitment.
So this interview required a lot of me - and is part of my healing that will continue as long as this old energetic legacy is still part of me. I invite you to listen how I healed from Lupus using Brandon Bay’s “The Journey” process, hosted by teacher and author Joan Jacobs for the Voice of America radio show The Light Within – Awakening The Inner Healer.
Healing is a very intimate process, there’s so much that is wordless, sometimes understood only by the person who is healing, and often not even that. There are so many sensations, fragrances and emotions. And there’s the getting lost, letting go, intense vulnerability, the subtle essences of the healing process itself, and a lot of trust towards the unknown.
We’d love to hear your experiences of healing from a serious disease, please drop us a comment.

Dear Oren, I just have recently been to a Journey Intensive followed by Manifest Abundance workshop. I am considering subscribing to the Internet TV facility even though I am no computer fan! So I was browsing around and planning to head for bed when I feel I was led to your article by source. I feel very in tune with source especially since the workshops. I went to Journey Intensive because I wanted to physically heal myself before my next appointment with the hospital consultant. I have been diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and have been using homoeopathy and acupuncture to heal myself, but I felt I needed more. Hence the Journey. The consultant wants me to take strong drugs which I am refusing to the annoyance of all the medical team. I so want my x-rays to be normal next time I visit. Anyway I am determined to get better and not use conventional medicine, so it was great to hear your story.
Best wishes,
Remi
